Brian L. Mims is an attorney/mediator and provides mediation services for parties with employment, commercial, and various other general disputes. He has participated in a wide range of mediations as a party or as a mediator during his career.
Brian brings a diverse background to his mediation practice as he has experience as in-house counsel and with law firms in various roles revolving around labor & employment, HR support, litigation management, commercial disputes, corporate governance and compliance, and insurance and risk management. His blended experience has honed skills that help drive parties to eventual consensus and develop actionable plans.
Brian received his mediation training in 2018 and has been actively volunteering his time to provide mediation services to the Harris County (Texas) Dispute Resolution Center and the Dispute Resolution Center of Montgomery County (Texas).
Brian received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Houston Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
